Brocken, Germany
A rare opportunity of having good weather on
top of this mountain yielded some really nice shots. In most days of
the year, especially in winter time, this mountain is shrouded in

Haleakala National Park
This park is located on the
Island of Maui. It includes both the Kipahulu coastal regions and the
summit region of Mount Haleakala, a giant dormant shield volcano. Its
summit is 3,055 meters (10,023 feet) above sea level, accessible even
by car. The name Haleakala means "house of the sun" in Hawaiian.

Hawaii Volcanoes
National Park
Located on the "Big Island" of Hawaii, the park
includes two active volcanoes: Mauna Loa, and Kilauea. In the region
near the Puu Oo vent and at the end of the "Chain of the Craters
Road", active lava flows can be observed. The park offers a variety of
